ووجد نفسه مفزوعا يندفع إلى السيارة المحطمة، وقبل حتى أن يقترب منها وينظر في وجه السائق، أو حتى يراه السائق، سمعه يناديه:

- النجدة يا (هامبي) .. أنقذني يا (هامبي).

ولم يكد (هيوارد) يسمع هذا الصوت، وهذا الاسم الذي لا يناديه به إلا شخص معين، اندفع نحو الحطام هاتفاً:

- أنا هنا يا (جو) .. سأنقذك يا صديقي.

واندفع نحو الحطام ليخرج صديق عمره (جون فندربيرك) الذي كان في حالة يُرثى لها بين الحياة والموت، وكانت الدماء التي نزفها كثيرة وكانت جروحه شديدة. حمله (هيوارد) إلى السيارة ثم انطلق به إلى أقرب مستشفى، وتم إجراء عملية جراحية ناجحة تم بها إنقاذ حياة (جون) بمعجزة حقيقية، وقال الطبيب المعالج لـ (هيوارد) أنه لو كان تأخر عن إحضاره قليلاً – ربع ساعة فحسب – لكان الآن في عداد الأموات.

دعنا الآن نحلل الحادث بكافة الوسائل المنطقة واللامنطقية …

1-الطريق الذي وقع به الحادث لم يمر به مخلوق واحد منذ أن وقع الحادث وحتى مرورو 45 دقيقة من إنقاذ (هيوارد) لـ (جون).

2-(هيوارد) سمع صوت ارتطام السيارة واضحاً جداً في أذنه، على الرغم من أن التقارير أثبتت أنه لم يكن هناك أي حوادث أخرى في دائرة نصف قطرها 50 كيلو متر من منزل (هيوارد).

3-(هيوارد) سمع صوت ارتطام السيارة في نفس اللحظة التي ارتطمت فيها سيارة (جون) بالعمود تماماً على الرغم من العشرة كيلو مترات .. هذا بافتراض أن (هيوارد) سمعه فائق.

4-لو تأخر (هيوارد) على (جون) ربع ساعة فقط لكان (جون) الآن ميتاً (بإذن الله بالطبع).

5-حينما سُئل (جون) عمن كان يفكر فيه ساعة وقوع الحادث، فأخبر أنه كان يفكر في صديق طفولته (هامبي) وهو الاسم المفضل لدى (جون) ينادي به صديقه (هيوارد). وهناك تجربة اخرى واقعية وهى سارية الجبل يمكنك القراءة عنها اضغط على الكلمة للدخول للموضوع


تفسير العلماء لهذا الحادث:

يقول العلماء إن ما حدث بين (هيوارد) و(جون) هو نوع شديد التطور من التخاطر العقلي أو التليباثي Telepathy نقل فيه (جون) رسالة استغاثة إلى صديق طفولته (هامبي)، ليخبره بأنه تعرض لحادث شنيع، وأنه في حاجة إلى مساعدته.

ويقول العلماء أيضاً أن ظروف ارسال واستقبال الرسالة كانت مثالية للغاية .. إذ أن أفضل وقت لإرسال رسالة عقلية هو عند إفراز الجسم مادة الأدرينالين، وهي مادة يتم إفرازها عند الخطر .. وكان جون يتعرض للخطر، فأرسل الرسالة العقلية وهو في حالة من حالات إفراز الأدرينالين.

أما بالنسبة للمستقبل فإن المادة المسئولة عن استقبال الرسالة في مثل هذه الحالة تسمى (الكولين استراز) وهي مادة تُفرز عند الاسترخاء، وكان (هيوارد) في هذه اللحظة يهم بالنوم، لذلك جسمه كان في حالة استرخاء، ولذلك كان مهيئاً لاستقبال رسالة (جون).
